Who runs the company during administration?

During administration the company is run by an Insolvency Practitioner appointed by the courts. The IP will oversee the formulation of a rescue operation such as a CVA. If the CVA proposal is accepted by the parties involved the company directors will take over the company again to implement it. The IP will then probably administer the CVA.
